The factors include the cost attached with the organic clothing. Serious clothing manufacturer often incur expense through their Eco-friendly processes. The cost is obviously passed on to the customer as the manufacturer will not in any case bear the extra cost as he already has put in more efforts. So for his reward customer has to bear.

The other factor which acts as deterrent for Organic Clothing is the wrinkles associated with these clothes. This is the biggest challenge as if one may be ready to bear the extra cost but he may not be ready to wear clothes which have wrinkles on it. Cotton, one of the best natural fibers for organic clothing, often seems to develop wrinkles just by hanging in one's closet.

Unfortunately organic clothing is not easily definable or certifiable. Therefore, clothing sold as organic may not be the real one. But as it allows one to do its bit to contribute to the environment one should not hesitate in going and searching for the real deal.
